DLC for CPRG Fabled Lands

Fabled Lands - The Serpent King's Domain is a premium game utility developed by Prime Games. It's a DLC for the tactical fantasy RPG, Fabled Lands. In this new content pack, players will venture into a new expansive continent filled with multiple biomes and a host of new enemies to face.

Much like Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Fabled Lands - The Serpent King's Domain features turn-based combat against not only humans but other magical monsters and creatures. It also introduces a new set of quests to accomplish and items to collect for their heroes.

Immortal king

Fabled Lands is a series of CRPGs based on a set of gamebooks of the same name. In a genre occupied by games like Baldur's Gate 3 or the acclaimed Divinity franchise, it was able to garner a sizable following for itself, particularly, among beginners to these types of tactical RPGs. Each DLC it released adapted the books, and Fabled Lands - The Serpent King's Domain marks the completion of the adaptation.

This new DLC from the series will have you facing the Immortal Serpent King on a new journey through various locations, including the Plateau of Dragons, Tarshesh, and more. Visit the port of Ankon-Donu and the sorcerer's city of Dweomer to battle pirates and supernatural entities, in search of treasure. Collect over 100 new items spread across artifacts and gear for your team.

What's more, there are 33 additional achievements to work toward and accomplish that encourage replayability and for you to really go out and explore the land. The only thing to note is that the experience will be a bit confusing if you've not played the previous DLCs as there is some lore and stories connected to them. Hence, it would be best to start with them first.

A solid conclusion

All in all, Fabled Lands - The Serpent King's Domain marks the final phase of the game adaptation of the classic gamebook RPG series, offering players a new way to experience it. There's a vast map to explore, as well as plenty of new quests and enemies to take on. Just make sure to start with previous games first if you haven't yet, to fully understand and appreciate the lore.

  • Pros

    • Last adaptation of the entire gamebook series
    • Vast map to explore
    • New quests and items to take on and collect
  • Cons

    • Lore will be confusing for some
